Miscellaneous Coverage Information

How to Read Document Coverage Information:

Information current through: the most recent date covered by the source state (ending coverage).

Database Updated: the last date the source state information was updated by West, a Thomson Reuters business for maintenance purposes.

Update Frequency: how often the data is updated (Monthly).

Current Date: the current date.

Source: the source state of the data, in this case Illinois.

Record Type: the file type sent by the state (e.g., Title, Registration, Heavy Truck, Combined).

Note: Due to various types of records being provided in both singular and a combined form, the ending coverage of the state data listed in the coverage will indicate the most recent date of available records. The ending coverage that is listed will represent the record type that has the most current ending coverage date. For example, a particular state may provide registrations, titles and combined record types with the following ending coverage dates:

Title = 01/15/02

Registration = 01/31/02

Combined = 02/04/02

In this case, the "information current through" ("Ending Coverage") would be listed as 02/04/02 since the ending coverage of the combined records is the most current.
